Good boots...except for the fact that they have no cushy ankle wraps like most boots do, so expect to wear out several pairs of socks before they start "breaking in" due to the fact that your heel rubs directly on the back of the boot. Also, the toe cover

Overall it's a great boot for the money (if you can find one that fits correctly).

Still have a pair of these I purchased in 1985.Retired them to around the house and yard. The leather uppers and rubber lugg soles wear like iron.Very compfortable versitile four season shoe.Great in summer barefoot with shorts, great for traction in winter months.I like contrast of casual leather uppers and rugged bootlike lugg soles.Little to no break in period. The leaher back is strong enough for slipping on and off with ease.Get a pair you wont be sorry.

I thought I had finally found a pair of Timberland slip-ons that could replace a style that was discontinued. These are nowhere close to the shoe they used to make. Very poor design. The sole is glued on and pieces keep on peeling off that I fix with superglue. The sole under the heel is very narrow and does not provide enough support. The inside back of the shoe is decaying after not much wear and causing them to be very uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
