I searched all the stores for these after hearing about UGG¡¯s from a friend fashion review, I maintain this fashion blog as well which can be accessed here:link removed. Could not find anything in the stores so I searched online and found this site. Very happy with what I received, service was informative and boots arrived on time. I received Timberland hiking boots nearly identical to the "Euro Hiker" I just purchased ... about 15 years ago, they were a birthday present from my mother. They felt wonderful-- that first day of wear. The next morning I awoke looking forward to that great feel of "comfort and protection" that my feet experienced the day before. It was not to be, for overnight one of our dogs discovered - only what I can assume to be the familiar smell of leather not unlike any number of his rawhide toys. The entire heel-end of one of my boots was completely eaten away, the other boot....untouched. No, I did not have the dawg put to sleep! But now, nearly two decades later, I have them back. They are just as I remember them, so comfortable & insulating from the elements. Get a pair, you won't be disappointed.

This is my second pair of Chochoruas. I needed a pair of shoes to do yard work and decided that the only shoe I would use would be my old Chochoruas (which are about 3 1/2 years old). The new ones are still in the box although they should be coming out shortly for breaking in. I have used my old pair for yard work the past several months and then hiked 60 miles in them with my son who is working on his BSA Hiking Merit Badge(one 20 mile and four 10 milers in past 10 days). My son also wears the same shoe and his pair went with him earlier in the summer to Philmont Scout Ranch (New Mexico) where he did some serious backpacking and hiking. They got pretty beat up on the trail, but they are still operational. As he is 14 years old, I will wait until Spring to see if he will need a larger size before replacement.
