LOVE these boots. Not a fan of Uggs overall, but I bought a pair of black Brooks short boots a few years ago, and they¡¯re my go-to everyday boot from Fall to Spring here in the rainy Northwest. I have been trying to find a pair of the Brooks short in brown, but they are impossible to find (discontinued, perhaps). After weeks of hesitation, I finally broke down and purchased the Brooks tall, and although the leather on the shaft and the lining are thinner than on the short version of a few years ago, they¡¯re still like slipping on a favorite pair of slippers. I am a true 8.5, but ordered the 8, which although snug out of the box, should fit perfectly after I¡¯ve worn them a couple of times (I have plenty of room to tuck jeans in and I always wear a thin sock with them). Love the brown color - not quite as dark as the picture. Glad I finally went for it!

The shoe has a great feel sand is super comfortable. The problem with the shoe is that the sole is glued on in pieces. I have worn the shoe for two weeks and since that time one section on each shoe has come unglued. Gorilla Glue has solved the problem
